Projekt se zaměřuje na posilování informovanosti o HIV, prevenci a přístup ke zdravotní péči u ukrajinských migrantek v České republice, které často čelí jazykovým bariérám, stigmatizaci a omezenému přístupu k relevantním informacím. Prostřednictvím kombinace peer vzdělávání, osvětových aktivit a cíleného vzdělávání odborníků projekt podporuje zvyšování zdravotní gramotnosti, odbourávání předsudků a včasné vyhledávání testování a odborné péče. Klíčovou roli hraje zapojení samotných migrantek jako peer edukátorek, které fungují jako důvěryhodné zprostředkovatelky informací a podpory ve svých komunitách. Projekt zároveň posiluje kapacity sociálních a zdravotnických pracovníků a přispívá k rozvoji citlivých, kulturně kompetentních a inkluzivních služeb v oblasti prevence HIV a podpory zdraví.

The project focuses on strengthening HIV awareness, prevention, and access to healthcare among Ukrainian migrant women in the Czech Republic, who often face language barriers, stigma, and limited access to relevant information. Through a combination of peer education, awareness-raising activities, and targeted training for professionals, the project supports increased health literacy, the reduction of prejudice, and timely access to HIV testing and specialised care. A key element of the project is the active involvement of migrant women themselves as peer educators, who act as trusted intermediaries for information and support within their communities. At the same time, the project strengthens the capacities of social and healthcare professionals and contributes to the development of sensitive, culturally competent, and inclusive services in the field of HIV prevention and health support.
